The right tile drill bit for your machine

Tile drill bits with an M14 connection screw directly onto the angle grinder. They are available in diameters from 20 to 82 mm, for example for sockets, pipe openings and drains.

For small diameters from 5 to 14 mm there are bits with cooling wax, either with an M14 connection or with a HEX shank for cordless screwdrivers and drills. The wax inside cools the cutting edge when drilling dry.

Drilling porcelain stoneware without chipping

Start with the bit slightly tilted until a small groove forms, then straighten it. Drill with little pressure and slight circular movements so the diamonds cut freely without overheating. For large diameters, a drilling template helps you position the bit.
